Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team at Alphanumeric Systems Inc. in Orlando, FL. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Shipping: Safely unload, unpack, and verify materials received from suppliers against packing lists. Report shortages to management and coordinate with purchasing personnel to resolve with the vendor.
  • Inventory Management: Perform periodic warehouse inventory counts to validate inventory levels. Accurately record and update inventory records in SAP and SharePoint.
  • Material Handling: Safely package product according to work instructions. Stage and load outbound packages/crates as required.
  • Warehouse Operations: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Perform miscellaneous material handling activities as instructed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to management and/or human resources.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 12 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of logistic functions. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Basic personal computer skills, including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, database, etc.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be required to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
