We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver with a valid CDL-A License and a minimum of 1 year of experience in operating tractor-trailers. As a crucial part of our logistics team, you will ensure the timely and safe delivery of food and related products.

Role Purpose:

As a Food Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in maintaining the food supply chain. You will be responsible for delivering products to customers, ensuring they arrive on time and in excellent condition, while building strong relationships with our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck for local and long-distance deliveries, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members, providing accurate information and assistance as needed.
  • Perform necessary safety checks and report any issues or repairs required.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork related to freight and deliveries.
  • Unload products and transport them to designated storage areas at customer locations.
  • Verify deliveries with customers and collect payments when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and loading areas.
  • Complete daily logs of service hours in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid CDL-A License.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience driving tractor-trailers.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid DOT Health Card.
  • Physical capability to lift and move product cases weighing between 10-90 pounds.
