Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the efficient delivery of goods via trucks, ensuring timely arrivals and proper maintenance.
  • Perform a range of customer service, warehouse, and administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Provide valuable feedback to management regarding staff performance evaluations.
  • Maintain oversight of key operational metrics, including freight handling, inventory shrinkage, margins, and overtime costs.
  • Cultivate a customer-centric environment that consistently exceeds expectations.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all associates.
  • Step into management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Stone Manager.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or a degree preferred. Proficiency in computer software applications such as Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes is essential. Familiarity with SSC operating procedures and certified forklift operation are highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in customer service and warehouse environments. One or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.
