We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our Surgical Innovations Manufacturing team in North Haven, CT. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the production of advanced surgical instruments.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
- Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.
- Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
- Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and able to understand work instructions and complete.
- Must be team-oriented, flexible, and hard-working.
- Medical device experience is a plus.
