About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our Surgical Innovations Manufacturing team in North Haven, CT. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the production of advanced surgical instruments.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
  • Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.
  • Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
  • Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Requirements
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and able to understand work instructions and complete.
  • Must be team-oriented, flexible, and hard-working.
  • Medical device experience is a plus.
