Role Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing various construction, industrial, and municipal projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and have a background in construction management or engineering. This role requires effective organization, administration, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Qualities
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to monitor projects and engage with field teams or clients.
  • Strong commitment to safety, serving as a role model for team members.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in time management and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Management.
  • Experience with pipeline replacement or rehabilitation is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct project take-offs, submittals, contract reviews, and manage profit and loss statements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to schedule personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Oversee all cost tracking and revenue forecasting for the project.
  • Prepare schedules and coordinate with contractor timelines.
  • Engage in pre-planning, resource forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate with management regarding major equipment and supply acquisitions.
  • Participate in construction planning meetings and site inspections.
  • Assist in maintaining quality control and safety standards across all projects.
  • Provide on-site support to manage field operations effectively.
  • Ensure project completion within established timelines and budgets while adhering to quality assurance and quality control standards.
  • Review and validate all necessary reporting, including time and daily logs from operations and superintendents.
  • Evaluate and approve vendor and customer invoices, ensuring accuracy in project details, dates, and rates.
Qualifications
  • Background in Construction Management.
  • A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred, though extensive experience may substitute.
  • Familiarity with pipeline rehabilitation and/or construction is preferred.
