North Wind Services is a leading government contractor that seeks a qualified Project Scheduler Coordinator to support the National Security Engineering Division (NSED) at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing scheduling support for the implementation of management priorities, integrating multiple projects with competing resource requirements. With minimal direction, the coordinator will coordinate with project teams to define activities and associated scope, activity durations, logic, and interface between activities and resource loading activities.

Key responsibilities include implementing earned value management systems, performing trend analysis, and evaluating project performance to provide clear results of schedule variances and root cause analysis. The coordinator will also prepare complex monthly project performance analysis, schedule status reports, and additional project documentation as required.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience using scheduling and reporting tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and have a strong understanding of earned value management principles. Self-motivated problem solvers with excellent analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills are highly regarded.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

This position requires an active Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance or inactive for less than 6 months with a recent reinvestigation, or active Top-Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at the time of hire.

Qualified applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, and able to meet pre-employment requirements including any required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy clearance requirements.

The National Security Engineering Division has multiple openings for a qualified Project Scheduler Coordinator to support the Modification and Life Extension Programs. If you hold multiple citizenships, you may be required to renounce your non-U.S. citizenship before a DOE L or Q clearance will be processed/granted.
