Job Summary

The Project Engineer (PE) plays a crucial role in the success of our Transportation and Infrastructure team. Reporting to the Regional Management or designated Project Manager, the PE is responsible for administering the technical aspects of assigned projects.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with owners, subcontractors, vendors, utility companies, and local state and federal agencies to ensure work is completed on schedule and on budget. The PE must have excellent communication skills to work effectively with customers, management, vendors, utility companies, and local state and federal agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 18 months of experience in the heavy civil construction field. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project, as well as Viewpoint Vista and HCSS Heavy Job software, is a plus.
