Job Summary

The Life Strategies Coach will work collaboratively with our team to provide individualized support to GCs, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional needs. This includes developing and implementing personalized learning plans, providing academic and behavioral interventions, and advocating for GCs to remove non-academic barriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans for GCs, including academic and behavioral interventions
  • Provide individualized support to GCs, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and remove non-academic barriers that impede GCs' progress
  • Advocate for GCs to access community resources and services that support their academic and personal success
  • Document and track GC progress, including academic and behavioral data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with youth, preferably in a non-traditional school setting
  • Strong understanding of ESE, ELL, and SEL practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
