Role Overview:

Position Title: Registered Dietitian

Objective: The Registered Dietitian will lend their expertise to clinical research activities focused on the effects of plant-based diets on health.

Research Team: Our clinical research team is dedicated to exploring the benefits of plant-based diets through well-structured trials and analyses. Our innovative studies aim to highlight the effectiveness of dietary changes, garner media attention, and influence health policies, ultimately leading to healthier eating habits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutrition education sessions for research participants.
  • Assist in the recruitment and enrollment of study participants.
  • Support participant assessments, particularly in diet record analysis.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Physical Requirements: Office work with the ability to perform clinical assessments.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time exempt position, requiring 40+ hours per week during standard business hours, with occasional early morning and evening commitments.

Position Level: Flexible, may be Coordinator or Specialist based on experience.

Compensation: Salary will be based on education, experience, and skills.
  • Coordinator Level: Minimum $60,000, Maximum $71,000.
  • Specialist Level: Minimum $71,000, Maximum $85,000.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of Clinical Research.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in nutrition or public health is preferred.

Credentials: Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a dietitian, with experience in plant-based diets preferred.
