About the Role

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and experienced Business Development professional to join the Data Solutions team expanding iCapital's enterprise presence in the US wealth channel. This team develops relationships with iCapital's largest clients and prospects within the RIA and Family Office channel.

This role is instrumental in driving new business initiatives with existing clients while acquiring new clients. As part of these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will create compelling presentations, develop market analysis and strategy, negotiate contracts, and organize implementation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and drive new opportunities with both new clients and existing client bases.
  • Develop new relationships with Wealth Managers, Family Offices, and high net worth individuals.
  • Promote a consultative approach to identify and acquire new enterprise accounts who would use all or parts of iCapital's proposition.
  • Educate clients on iCapital's depth of technology capabilities.
  • Provide detailed pipeline updates and reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate client feedback to improve delivery of solutions and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Lead platform and system demonstrations for new prospects, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on client launches and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • 2-7+ years of experience in business development/relationship management capacity.
  • 2-7+ years of experience working within financial services or financial technology industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex product sets and/or technology offerings to clients.
  • Experience with alternative investments, structured investments, and/or annuities.
  • Strong experience with performance reporting platforms and associated data management.
  • Track record of building and maintaining client relationships with key decision makers.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize client coverage across product lines and channels, achieving depth of penetration and consolidated support models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated client service skills with key stakeholders and clients.
What We Offer

iCapital offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $110,000. Our compensation package includes equity for all full-time employees and an annual performance bonus. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including an employer-matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe that collaboration leads to innovation. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
