Position Summary:
The Director of Commercial Insights and Analytics will spearhead the establishment of a robust operational framework for Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, and Commercial Analytics. This role is crucial for supporting product launches and pipeline initiatives within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop operational capabilities in the U.S., including defining roles, teams, processes, and systems to support various departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs.
  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team, fostering individual growth and team cohesion.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality insights and analytics.
  • Promote a culture of innovation that encourages data-driven decision-making in commercial analytics and market research.
  • Provide actionable market, customer, and product insights to drive commercial success.
  • Oversee the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research initiatives.
  • Analyze research findings and prepare comprehensive reports for leadership.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in market research for Providers, Patients, and Payors.
  • Establish a competitive intelligence framework to support strategic planning.
  • Assess commercial strategies to evaluate ROI and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage departmental budgets and vendor contracts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive and adaptable leadership style.
  • Strong business acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Experience in outsourcing commercial operations and managing partnerships.
  • Track record of attracting and developing talent.
  • Ability to collaborate with Business Information Systems to define requirements.
  • Understanding of regulatory and legal standards in pharmaceutical operations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roles within the biopharmaceutical sector, with at least 5-7 years focused on market research and analytics.
