Machining Tool Sales Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Machining Tool Sales Consultant to join our team at Productivity Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling machining tools to customers in the Des Moines and Central Iowa areas.

This is a salaried position transitioning to commission, offering excellent earning potential. Day 1 coverage for Medical, Dental, and Vision plans for employees & family, as well as a 401(k) with match.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of machine shop experience, a related technical degree desirable, and proficiency in PC/computer skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Calling on new and existing accounts in the Des Moines and Central Iowa areas
  • Assisting customers by providing technical expertise and product information and offering solutions and recommendations
  • Writing and following up on quotes and closing sales
Benefits and Compensation

Estimated salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year (based on industry standards and location)
