Job Summary

Emerald Blue is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Furniture Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of furniture installation projects, meeting customer expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely completion of furniture installation projects, meeting customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project, including customers, installation teams, and management.
  • Resolve conflicts and develop solutions to ensure project success.
  • Enforce proper installation and handling techniques, and direct installation teams to complete projects effectively.
  • Conduct quality inspections and address corrective actions to ensure high-quality installations.
  • Document scope changes and project status daily, and support company initiatives and provide training on new products and procedures.
  • Supervise and train installation professionals, assign tasks, and provide coaching to maintain support functions.
  • Maintain a cohesive work environment, document employee behavior, and assist in estimating labor requirements and controlling expenses.
  • Provide effective communication and service, projecting a positive image of the company, and maintain professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective management and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of furniture assembly and repair.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Flexibility to accommodate scheduling changes and travel requirements.
  • Ability to travel up to 8 overnights per month.
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a customer-facing field preferred.
