POSITION OVERVIEW: DrinkPAK LLC is seeking a proactive Staff Accountant to play a crucial role in achieving the company's ambitious growth objectives. This position will collaborate closely with the Senior Controller to establish and enhance the financial and accounting systems necessary for success in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual eager to expand their knowledge and advance their career. Responsibilities will include overseeing the company's routine general ledger operations, participating in annual audits, managing invoicing, accounts receivable, month-end closing processes, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the month-end financial closing process, including managing the close schedule, reconciling general ledger accounts, performing bank reconciliations, and posting journal entries.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate execution of daily transactions, including receipt of goods, accounts receivable and payable invoicing, inventory management, and external reporting.
  • Engage in periodic invoicing, maintaining direct communication with customers as needed.
  • Develop and document accounting procedures and policies to strengthen the company's internal control framework.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Controller to review and implement enhancements to accounting systems and processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with financial audits by gathering audit requests and organizing documentation.
  • Complete special projects and ad hoc assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • 1-3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods or manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with GAAP and internal controls related to financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP accounting software such as SAP BusinessOne, Quickbooks, or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

$65,000 - $75,000
