Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounts receivable subledger, including daily posting of cash receipts, invoices, credit memos, and other adjustments.
  • Preparing daily invoicing for proper distribution to customers.
  • Investigating and reconciling aged items and unknown deductions with the support of Customer Service and Sales team members.
  • Providing weekly AR reporting, including Aging Summary by Customer and Over 60 Analysis.
  • Maintaining Accounts Receivable files accurately, conforming to SOX and External Audit requirements.
  • Providing Quarterly Reserve Analysis for AR Allowance.
  • Tracking and reconciling monthly capital expenditures, including CIP, and working with all project managers on completion status.
  • Managing FAS-based fixed asset ledger, calculating monthly depreciation, and monthly reconciliation to the GL.

Additionally, you will prepare various journal entries and associated reconciliations assigned related to the monthly close, such as Cash and Prepaid Contracts. You will also support a variety of general accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Initiative and good problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an environment where tact, sensitivity, respect, tenacity, persuasive ability, and decisiveness are required for success.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Education/Previous Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • 2+ years related accounting experience or training preferred.
