REPORTS TO: Owner/Franchisee

POSITION SUMMARY: This role is entirely responsible for the successful and profitable management of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while complying with all company standards and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the restaurant operates in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including health codes, wage laws, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and any other relevant legal requirements.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of and adherence to all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide effective leadership to the restaurant team to consistently achieve high standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, while fostering a cheerful and enjoyable work environment that aligns with Firehouse Subs' values and mission.
  • Oversee the restaurant's profitability by managing food costs, labor, utilities, and driving sales growth within established guidelines.
  • Coordinate and execute current operational strategies and company initiatives in a timely and profitable manner.
  • Responsible for the appropriate staffing of the restaurant with qualified personnel, ensuring proper training and development.
  • Accountable for the ongoing training and professional growth of the Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
  • Actively engage in Local Restaurant Marketing within the community.
  • Implement and advocate for all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Ensure all necessary programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Stay informed and involved in community activities to leverage sales and public relations opportunities.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  • Effectively communicate any issues that may affect business operations to the GM/Owner.
  • Maintain restaurant equipment in optimal working condition and report any issues to the Owner immediately.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, up to 13 hours.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Owner.

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000.00 per year

This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. All hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchise restaurant.
