Role Responsibilities

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our dealership's success by focusing on customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the forefront of all business interactions.
  • Identifying customer vehicle preferences through effective questioning and attentive listening.
  • Conducting vehicle demonstrations, including facilitating test drives.
  • Overseeing the vehicle delivery process, ensuring customers are well-informed about their new vehicle's features, warranty, and necessary documentation.
  • Setting personal income objectives aligned with dealership productivity standards and developing strategies to achieve them.
  • Reporting progress and activities to the Sales Manager for ongoing performance evaluation.
  • Staying informed about incoming inventory and product features to better assist customers.
  • Collaborating with service and body shop departments to ensure timely vehicle reconditioning.
  • Participating in dealership and manufacturer training sessions to enhance your sales skills.
  • Maintaining a systematic approach to prospect development and customer follow-up.
  • Regularly reviewing and analyzing performance metrics to optimize time management and planning.
  • Understanding automotive terminology and keeping up with technological advancements in the industry.
  • Educating customers on vehicle equity, values, and depreciation concepts.
  • Being knowledgeable about applicable federal, state, and local retail auto sales regulations.
  • Introducing customers to service department staff to highlight the quality of service available.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and promptly reporting any incidents to management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions effectively.
  • Possession of a valid in-state driver's license.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capability to meet minimum sales quotas as per dealership standards.
  • Authorization to work in the USA is required for all applicants.
  • Commitment to performing all duties safely and responsibly.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment assessments, including background checks and drug testing.
