Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Krauss Maffei Corporation. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the plastics processing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Install, qualify, repair, or alter independently machines (mechanically, electrically, and CNC) or associated equipment in customer's facilities.
- Perform technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve issues with CNC machine tools and automation.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machine tools and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and develop company products.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Associates Degree in a technical field and 3-5 years of related experience in the electrical field, preferably as a Field Service Engineer or Technician.
- Thorough understanding of machinery processes, including robotic equipment, operations, and installations.
- Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience with CNC machine tools and automation.
- Solid technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position operates primarily at KM customer's sites, although some technical support may be provided from the home office as directed by management. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and forklifts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness is required.
