Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the repair and start-up function of customer equipment, providing solutions to electrical, mechanical, and environmental equipment issues.
- Perform pre-startup checks and make final adjustments as needed.
- Control costs and schedules of projects in the best interest of DSC and customers.
- Provide high-quality training to customers on safe and efficient operation and maintenance of DSC equipment.
- Communicate timely information to customers, including job status updates and detailed written follow-up reports.
- Complete DSC-assigned safety training and customer site safety training as required.
- Travel extensively, working varied schedules at different locations each week, including holidays and weekends as necessary to satisfy customer needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in power plant-related maintenance and operations, or 3-5 years in industrial maintenance or construction-related fields.
- Additional consideration for an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and ensure proper operation.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical information.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
