Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled CNC Machinery Field Service Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting services to customers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC machinery, electrical components, and PLC programming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot CNC equipment issues
  • Commission CNC equipment and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct customer training on CNC equipment operation and maintenance
  • Lead and train less experienced service personnel

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or technical field working with CNC machinery
  • Knowledge of electrical components, PLC programming, and mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds

Benefits

  • Hourly, non-exempt, full-time position with paid overtime
  • Extensive training in Cincinnati, Ohio, followed by stationing in the Detroit area
  • Daily trips 2-3 hours driving from the Detroit area, with occasional overnight trips
