Job Summary

We are seeking licensed and compassionate Child/Adolescent Clinical Psychologists for full-time or part-time positions within correctional facilities. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing essential mental health care to children and adolescents in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals, to address youth needs and optimize therapeutic interventions.
  • Serve as a role model and coach, fostering positive development in problem-solving, decision-making, and independent living skills.
  • Implement individualized behavior management interventions and ensure alignment with treatment plans.
  • Observe, document, and report behavioral, emotional, and physical symptoms, intervening as necessary.
  • Organize and lead daily recreational and social activities, including outdoor programs and physical exercise, promoting active participation and enthusiasm.
  • Provide guidance during daily routines, such as meals, school, and chores, while maintaining a supportive and structured environment.
  • Assist youth in developing coping skills through participation in group meetings and skill-building activities.
  • Administer medications as necessary and ensure proper documentation of care.
  • Maintain consistency by enforcing program policies and behavior motivational systems.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Prior experience working with child/adolescent populations, ideally within corrections, residential treatment, or forensic settings.
  • Strong therapeutic skills in individual, group, and crisis settings.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule
