Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to play a vital role in the planning, organization, development, and management of Speech Language Pathology services. This position is aligned with the latest federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Position Overview:
This is a PRN role with flexible day hours.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Speech Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality speech therapy services and making referrals as necessary, adhering to established practice standards and departmental procedures.
  • Conducting evaluations and gathering essential data for effective treatment planning and execution.
  • Creating comprehensive treatment plans that outline target objectives, as well as short-term and long-term goals.
  • Educating patients, families, and staff on relevant speech-language techniques to facilitate the integration of therapeutic goals into daily routines.
  • Completing accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with CMS expectations using the NetHealth EMR system.
  • Overseeing and implementing appropriate protocols for FEES/MBS in collaboration with site programs.
  • Participating in screening protocols to ensure that residents' needs are met promptly and with clinical excellence.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competency.
  • An active SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
  • A commitment to ongoing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.
