The Service Leader is a key member of the restaurant team, responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient service environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized service area, including the dining room, kitchen, and restrooms.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Lead and motivate the restaurant team to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and quality standards, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
  • Assist with training and development of restaurant team members, including new hire orientation and ongoing training and coaching.
  • Conduct regular inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment to ensure that the restaurant is well-stocked and equipped to meet customer demand.
  • Assist with cash handling and banking procedures, including counting and reconciling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
