Position Overview:

The Customer Satisfaction Agent plays a vital role in addressing customer inquiries and providing rate quotes with a proactive approach to ensure optimal service delivery and complete customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Address all customer requests, including billing inquiries and administrative tasks, ensuring timely resolution within 48 hours.
  2. Input customer bookings into the system accurately upon receipt via calls or emails.
  3. Compile and prepare any special billing information as requested by customers.
  4. Investigate customer-reported issues, implement corrective measures, and prevent recurrence of similar issues.
  5. Examine discrepancies in cubing and communicate findings regarding dock errors or billing adjustments to the Customer Service Manager for further action.
  6. Propose enhancements to existing customer service procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Provide supplementary training to sales and rate personnel as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service.
  • Demonstrated customer support expertise.
  • Strong skills in handling phone interactions and active listening.
  • Ability to adapt to various customer personalities and maintain a customer-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
