POSITION: Client Relations Specialist

LOCATION: Chatsworth, California

REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Sales and Account Management

SHIFT: Day Shift: (7:30 am to 4:30 pm / Monday thru Friday)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role involves overseeing sales activities and managing accounts for designated clients and products. The ideal candidate should possess a keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to interact effectively with various personalities across multiple departments. Key attributes include strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and the capability to meet deadlines. A vibrant, friendly, and professional demeanor is essential.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Processing daily purchase orders and updating sales/purchase orders within the ERP system.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and concerns, conducting follow-ups, and researching orders using our ERP system.
  • Generating and analyzing market studies to identify customer requirements, forecasting, pricing strategies, and discount structures.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients through regular communication.
  • Managing contracts and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Assisting with credit and collections as necessary.
  • Providing support for other Account Managers/Client Relations Specialists as needed.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree; 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in sales administrative support, ideally within a manufacturing context. Aerospace experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in technical product sales.
  • Familiarity with aerospace distribution, MRO, and aftermarket support sales models.
  • Strong skills in relationship building and customer development.
  • Ability to recognize customer needs and devise solutions within company capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • High energy level, adept at multitasking.
  • Well-organized, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Fluent in reading and writing English.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Collaborative spirit in a team environment for cross-training and discussions on operational matters.
  • Proactive in learning and adapting work methods to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
