Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Engineers engage with various personnel regarding instrumentation and power distribution challenges. Their tasks typically include providing technical support as part of maintenance teams, leading project execution to enhance plant electrical and instrumentation systems, and conducting investigations and root cause analyses of system failures. A strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation codes and specifications is essential, along with excellent communication skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Project Engineers handle a range of practical electrical and instrumentation projects within a refinery context. You will cultivate project management abilities, including scope definition, budget and timeline development, and teamwork throughout different engineering phases. We are dedicated to nurturing engineers into proficient project managers capable of overseeing projects of varying scales.

Reliability Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineers address electrical and instrumentation challenges at the refinery. Responsibilities include analyzing equipment failures, devising solutions for recurring issues, submitting Project Request Forms (PRFs) for implementation, and understanding maintenance strategies for equipment. Opportunities to utilize electrical analysis software for coordination issues and perform Arc Flash studies for the power system will be available, alongside learning about the application of critical Refinery Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).

Process Control / Technical Service Engineers work on diverse projects supporting the process control systems throughout the refinery and product movement areas. These systems provide real-time control and data acquisition functions essential for operating refinery processes and electrical equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Required Major: Electrical Engineering
  • Education Level: Bachelor's degree
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Military experience is a plus.
