Key Responsibilities:

PRIMARY ROLE:

Design and specify sophisticated electrical, mechanical, and automated systems. Enhance manufacturing support and maintenance initiatives through training and technical assistance. Formulate process specifications, machine parameters, and strategies for minimizing waste and maximizing operational efficiency. Lead capital projects from the initial planning stage through procurement, installation, testing, and transition to operational teams. Evaluate top-tier facilities and implement industry-leading processes, equipment, and workflows.

CORE FUNCTIONS:
Develop control systems for machinery, encompassing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.

Select capital machinery for production processes.

Optimize existing machinery to boost uptime, enhance quality, and increase productivity.

Provide engineering support for production equipment and processes, including maintenance guidance.

Establish cost-saving initiatives to align with overall plant objectives.

Offer recommendations for enhancing preventative maintenance programs.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineers for ongoing improvement initiatives.

Approve modifications to machine tool programs.

Educate team members on new technologies and manufacturing methodologies.

Adhere to and uphold Quality Management System and Environmental Management System standards.

Participate in teams and lead team activities.

Monitor and document cost savings.

PFMEAs:
Comprehend the application of PFMEAs within the organization; develop, maintain, and review PFMEAs as necessary.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.

The position necessitates technical expertise in machine operations, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.

Technical knowledge in mechanical design is essential.

Proficient skills in capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning are necessary. Strong interpersonal skills are vital.

Mentor and cultivate maintenance staff.

Assist other facilities with technical challenges.

Candidates must be capable of independently managing assigned project tasks.

Preferred experience in data-driven analysis and problem-solving techniques.
