FEAM Aero is actively seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. We are dedicated to surpassing our customers' expectations and fostering long-term relationships with our clients. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will report directly to their immediate supervisor and is responsible for executing all assigned tasks in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer specifications as outlined in approved technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct line maintenance (both scheduled and on-call) on various aircraft.
  • Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness certifications (within the scope of approval) to return aircraft to service.
  • Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, engines, and related components; effectively managing tasks to meet deadlines and performance objectives.
  • Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble components to ensure equipment operates according to Approved Technical Data provided by clients.
  • Ensure all departing aircraft comply with safety regulations as per FARs and the relevant manuals, with proper documentation of all work performed.
  • Execute line maintenance duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the maintenance control center of the air carrier as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Possession of a current and valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in recent line maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting, daily checks, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and utilize hand and finger dexterity frequently; capable of climbing, balancing, bending, or crawling, including working at heights.
  • Ability to lift, push, or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds; awareness of working near moving mechanical parts and exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or loud noises.
  • Visual acuity necessary for operating equipment and reading technical information.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and endure non-weather-related extremes such as heat or cold.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English.
  • Must pass airport security background checks and be available for travel as required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with A320, A321, B747, or B777 aircraft.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with flight crews.
  • Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
