Overview
As a pivotal member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the inspection, modification, and repair of aircraft at our maintenance facility. You will troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs on company aircraft while leading and mentoring mechanics on complex tasks. Your expertise in electronic testing equipment and troubleshooting tools will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose technical issues and carry out repairs on company aircraft.
- Conduct aircraft inspections in accordance with company protocols.
- Utilize electronic testing equipment and measuring devices effectively.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Assist in the maintenance of company tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with contract maintenance personnel as part of a cohesive team.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the work environment.
- Report discrepancies found during inspections to the Maintenance Control department and follow directives for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed accurately as per company and FAA regulations prior to departure.
- Lead and mentor mechanics on advanced maintenance tasks.
- Organize daily activities and coordinate inspections and repairs of aircraft.
- Manage materials and tooling requirements for your shift's projected work.
- Act as shift manager when necessary.
- Schedule personnel to ensure coverage for aircraft maintenance and inspections.
- Conduct inventories of manual and aircraft parts as needed.
- Support other departments to guarantee timely departures of company aircraft.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
- Extensive experience in transport category aircraft maintenance.
- Formal training in advanced systems and avionics.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft software and digital manuals.
- Demonstrated work ethic and organizational abilities.
- Able to work in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Possess a valid passport or state-issued driver's license; occasional travel may be required for AOG recovery and special projects.
Salary Range: $101,500 - $137,000
The financial offer will be determined based on various factors, including location, relevant experience, and skill set.
