Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at Silver Air Private Jets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of daily maintenance tasks for our fleet, while effectively collaborating with various internal teams, flight crews, and maintenance service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise aircraft maintenance: Manage repairs, modifications, scheduling, and procurement of necessary parts.
  • Develop maintenance strategies: Create and implement maintenance plans for assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams: Work closely with the Aircraft Resource Manager and other departments to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of maintenance activities.
  • Manage AOG situations: Oversee Aircraft on Ground events, ensuring prompt resolution and return to service.
  • Provide on-site support: Be present for all owner departures to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Control maintenance costs: Monitor budgets, parts inventory, and maintenance programs to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and parts used.
  • Ensure timely invoicing: Collaborate with the accounting team to guarantee accurate and prompt billing.
  • Lead monthly reviews: Conduct calls to discuss owner statements and work with stakeholders for a smooth process.
  • Enhance RTS initiatives: Take proactive measures to facilitate the Return to Service of aircraft, coordinating with relevant teams and vendors.
  • Build vendor relationships: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with maintenance vendors to ensure accountability and quality service.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 10+ years in maintenance tech or controller roles, with a preference for Part 135 experience.
  • Licensing: A&P License is mandatory.
  • Software proficiency: Familiarity with maintenance tracking software such as CAMP or Flight Docs is preferred.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, demonstrating professionalism at all levels.
  • Organizational skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Time management: Ability to work effectively under pressure while multitasking and solving problems.
  • Team collaboration: A strong team player who contributes positively to the organization and client relations.
