Front Desk Agent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Great Wolf Lodge. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests and register them by obtaining or confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, and assigning rooms.
  • Establish credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cash.
  • Direct guests to their rooms by showing them the location on a resort map.
  • Convey information to guests by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, facsimiles, packages, and other correspondence.
  • Provide concierge duties to guests by answering any inquiries regarding resort services, entertainment, shopping, business, and travel.
  • Maintain records by entering room and guest account data.
  • Collect revenue by entering services and charges, computing bills, and obtaining payment.
  • Makes resort and other reservations by entering or telephoning requirements, checking availability, and confirming requirements.
  • Secure guest valuables by processing lost and found items to the housekeeping department.
  • Confirm guest identity for registering guests.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by verifying, reporting, and acting in a safe manner.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent education/experience).
  • Must be flexible regarding schedule, based on business demands.
  • Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service skills.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction.
