Marketing Associate Role

At Hachette Book Group, we are seeking a skilled Marketing Associate to support our team in developing strategic marketing campaigns for our titles. As a Marketing Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with authors, editors, and other stakeholders to create customized marketing plans that drive sales and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support senior marketing team members in creating and executing innovative marketing campaigns for priority projects
• Manage title-marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, analytics, and budgets for a host of titles per season
• Liaise with publishing, editorial, sales, publicity, and the larger marketing department to implement cohesive campaigns and promotions
• Communicate marketing updates to sales, authors, agents, and other stakeholders as needed
• Pitch organizations, VIPs, social media influencers, and partners for cross-promotional opportunities for single titles as appropriate

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of experience in marketing or publishing with a demonstrated ability to innovate and manage multiple projects at once
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team, while also having full ownership of your work and autonomy to craft and implement plans for your titles
• Fluency in key marketing concepts and tools, including email, social media marketing, influencer partnerships, and search engine marketing and optimization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a busy working environment

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary range: $53,200 - $56,000
