A distinguished hotel is in search of a dedicated Front Desk Associate to join our esteemed establishment in Princeton, West Virginia. Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel appreciated and valued.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes, handle payments, and issue room keys.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints with sensitivity and understanding, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to meet guest requests and resolve issues swiftly.
- Maintain organized and accurate guest records, including payment and reservation details.
- Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, providing clear information regarding room availability, amenities, and pricing.
- Work closely with housekeeping to guarantee that all rooms are thoroughly cleaned and ready for incoming guests.
- Ensure the lobby and front desk area are kept clean and inviting at all times.
- Assist in preparing and distributing daily reports, such as room occupancy and revenue summaries.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience in a customer service capacity, ideally within the hospitality field.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and reservation systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to a high volume of guest requests.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
