Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support a DARPA Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation initiative for Coalition partners and the United States. This will involve the development and integration of C2 (command and control) capability in the DARPA Experimentation Node (DEN). Additionally, the successful candidate will conduct a series of warfighting experimentation events leveraging M&S environments to identify and share operationally relevant insights for future warfighting plans, research, and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the DE2 architecture and its applications.
  • Operate the DE2 Software Suite to generate, execute, and test DE2-enabled LVC experiments.
  • Design, test, and debug Blue/Red force entity Behavior Models and Weapons Models using the Next Generation Threat Simulator (NGTS).
  • Develop, test, and debug new and existing DE2 Scenarios within NGTS.
  • Collaborate with the VFDE OPs Team to ensure the operational relevance and realism of generated Behavior/Weapons Models and DE2 Scenarios, as well as ingest OPs-provided force laydowns and initial conditions into developed scenarios.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all DE2 Toolboxes and comprising applications.
  • Operate DE2 M&S Tools, including AST, STK, SPYSE, TSPAR, and SIGMA, both independently and in support of NGTS-enabled scenario execution.
  • Operate VFDE-developed Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) applications enabling interaction with generated DE2 scenarios, including real-time task/COA generation.
  • Utilize modeling and scenario generation expertise to provide support during DE2 testing and execution events.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of Modeling and Simulation or related experience.
  • Desirable experience with Next Generation Threat Simulator or related simulation software.
  • Desirable experience with Red/Blue wargame scenarios design.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $185,000 - $210,000.
