Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating combat weapon systems using computer-based analytical tools. Your technical expertise will be vital in evaluating and modernizing combat weapon systems. You will develop your skills in critical thinking, data analytics, and operations analysis while gaining experience in constructive modeling and simulation of combat operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess combat weapon systems using computer-based analytical tools.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies in the field.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Modeling and Simulation.
  • Experience with scenario development using mission-level constructive simulation tools.
  • Experience with a variety of COTS and GOTS M&S and data science tools.
  • Ability to apply Operational Analysis principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Knowledge of combat weapons systems, including aircraft.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with developing AFSIM scripts to customize model behaviors and decisions.
  • Experience with scenario development and performing analytical assessments of combat weapon systems.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of raw model output to identify key drivers.
  • Ability to distill, summarize, and articulate complex technical insights and findings.
  • TS/SCI clearance.

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
