About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Modeling Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our digital engineering team, you will play a critical role in shaping the development and upgrades of aerospace systems across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead digital engineering and model-based systems engineering activities to design and develop advanced aerospace systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute model-based testing using systems models with linked engineering tools.
  • Develop and automate tools and infrastructure in the cloud to support digital engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on model-based design, model-based systems engineering, and digital engineering best practices.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with systems engineering activities, including experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or IBM Rhapsody.
  • 2+ years of experience with requirements and system architecture development across the systems development lifecycle.
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud computing, including Amazon Web Services GovCloud and Commercial.
  • Experience with performing analysis studies in a modeling and simulation environment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics.
  • Ability to obtain 8570 Certification, including Sec+, within 30 days of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with supporting engineering tools, including IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, or STK or CAD tools, including CATIA or SolidWorks.
  • Experience in a DoD aerospace program acquisition office.
  • Experience in developing and executing model-based testing using the systems model with linked engineering tools.
  • Experience in standing up and configuring engineering tools on new and existing infrastructure.
  • Experience in developing and automating tools and infrastructure in the cloud.
  • Experience in scripting tools and languages, including Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
  • Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread.
  • Knowledge of DoD Security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification.
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP.
Clearance
