About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Systems Modeling Engineer to join our team at Sedaro Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient, physics-based modeling engines to simulate the coupled dynamics of the space environment and spacecraft systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement efficient, physics-based modeling engines to simulate the coupled dynamics of the space environment and spacecraft systems
  • Develop modeling algorithms which leverage a parallelized, distributed compute architecture
  • Create and/or collect truth data and leverage third-party tools for verification and validation of modeling engines
  • Work with front-end software engineers to develop engaging and valuable visualization and analysis tools
  • Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues

Requirements:

  • Active enrollment in Bachelor's Degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or Physics
  • Experience with Git, VS Code, and agile software development practices
  • Software development experience, ideally with Python and/or Matlab
  • Experience on aerospace-related university projects
