Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Substation Specialist, you will be entrusted with the following tasks:

- Assigning tasks and offering guidance to junior team members while coordinating quality control reviews for work completed by less experienced engineers and/or designers.

- Collaborating with Senior Engineers and the Business Class Leader to identify and cultivate specific technical expertise, participating in training and seminars to deepen your understanding of complex concepts related to your field.

- Assisting in the development of technical papers and/or presentations that highlight our technical capabilities at industry conferences or similar events.

- Conducting quality control reviews of projects from other teams as required.
- Working independently while mentoring, training, and supervising less experienced engineers and/or designers.
- Coordinating the electrical design team's efforts on large institutional or industrial projects throughout the schematic design development and contract documentation phases.
- Managing workloads to ensure timely completion of documents.
- Facilitating work sessions at project sites in collaboration with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
- Reviewing electrical documents for conflicts with all disciplines.
- Performing additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proven experience in substation controls and relay design.
- Specific expertise in substation design aspects, including One Line Diagrams, General Arrangements, Conduit Plans, Material Lists, Relay and Control Systems, Control Schematics, and Wiring Diagrams.
