Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Technical Authority for Facilities Teams and Manufacturing sites, delivering expert guidance and support.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including Technology, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Establish and maintain internal standards and specifications for equipment and components.
  • Promote global consistency by standardizing design concepts and operational practices across all facilities.
  • Evaluate system designs to enhance performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Assist sites in problem-solving by applying standardized methodologies and tools.
  • Benchmark and implement engineering best practices for facilities and systems.
  • Support construction project teams with engineering and design for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Review and uphold Electrical Engineering design and construction standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication with local facilities and project partners to achieve objectives.
  • Conduct timely reviews of design packages, providing constructive feedback.
  • Assist in preparing cost and schedule estimates, ensuring justification for approvals.
  • Oversee consultant resources to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensure project scopes align with customer expectations and adhere to change management protocols.
  • Monitor construction progress and provide necessary support throughout the process.
  • Guarantee compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations in all designs.
  • Participate in network-wide capacity planning, assessing impacts of potential changes.
  • Review capacity planning databases and validate operational trends.
  • Advise on scope, schedule, and cost estimates for facility modifications.
  • Lead global facilities initiatives, defining objectives and implementation strategies.
  • Champion sustainability programs in alignment with corporate goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's Degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the Semiconductor or Facilities industry.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in Facilities and Semiconductor Electrical Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical Systems, including Critical Backup Systems and Electrical Distribution.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, averaging 25% of the time.

Salary Range (Based on Experience & Qualifications): $100k - $175k
