Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Wafer Fabrication Etch Processes Section in our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor processing and process integration, with a focus on III-V semiconductor materials and epitaxial growth. The role requires a broad understanding of microelectronics processing techniques and the ability to lead a team of skilled process engineers to fabricate advanced microelectronic devices in accordance with various technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities
  • Review process changes and identify opportunities for improvement, working to enhance process yields and interface with operations management.
  • Oversee project schedules and costs, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Facilitate the effective allocation of team resources to support the oversight of foundry processes, assist in identifying future capital investment needs, and foster open communication between functional teams.
  • Work with the department manager on manpower and resource planning, controlling overhead costs, developing and delivering employee performance reviews, and developing/reviewing proposals.
  • Support management at the department, directorate, and functional leadership levels.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 10 years of prior work experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM field and 7 years of prior work experience, or a PhD in a STEM field and 4 years of prior work experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing or process integration, with a focus on III-V semiconductor materials and epitaxial growth.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
