Role Overview

As a Technical Solutions Specialist at Clipper Controls Inc., you will serve as a technical resource to our customers, Account Managers, and Inside Sales Associates. Your primary responsibilities will include product configuration and recommendations for applications where our customers expect our expertise to bring added value to the solutions we provide. Additionally, you will have the same responsibilities as our Inside Sales Associates as needed. Our customers will learn to rely on us because you are an expert in your field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, treating our customers as the top priority.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Project Management and Public Bid experience are highly valued.
  • Effective Communicator: strong phone and email presence, with good listening skills.
  • Be Competent: a Bachelor's degree in a technical major is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
  • 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation, controls, or analytical fields.
  • Be Professional and Dependable.
  • Periodic overnight travel to attend tradeshows, sales, and training meetings.
  • Physical demands: able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs, and ladders.
  • Pass security background checks, physical, and drug tests.
