Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at CKD USA Corporation. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the semiconductor industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales and customer relationships in the Territory, building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, negotiating contracts, and closing agreements to maximize profits.

In this role, you will work closely with the Semiconductor Sales Director to report on all activities in your responsible area. You will also collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.

A key aspect of this job is staying current with industry trends to identify potential opportunities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters in the Territory.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business with existing accounts and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales goals.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Assist with challenging account requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Use strong mechanical and sales aptitude to organize technical and product information for customer presentations.
  • Generate management reports as scheduled, including market studies and analysis.
  • Stay current with industry trends to identify potential opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven technical semiconductor and/or fluid power sales industry experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or Sales Account Manager.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, CRM, or HubSpot) and MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel).
  • Experience selling to Asian manufacturers (China or Taiwan).
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Chinese; Japanese a plus.
  • Ability to work in a remote sales office.
  • Travel 15-20%, one time a year internationally.

Estimated Salary:$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
