Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Sales Professional to join our team at Stabilus Industrial. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion in new markets.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that offers a unique opportunity to learn about industrial sales and grow within our company. You will be responsible for developing a competitive landscape for new products and market pricing, creating a value-added offer to support sales and marketing activities, and maintaining awareness of competitive activities and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a competitive landscape for new products and market pricing
  • Create a value-added offer to support sales/marketing activities
  • Develop a segment-specific product portfolio, including content for different marketing platforms (brochure, white papers, training material), with support from Engineering and Marketing
  • Be present at trade shows
  • Build or create a network in new target segment contacts
  • Create custom target lists for identified expansion industries, and set up calls with the local sales team
  • Provide quarterly updates to Sales Management on target industries and action taken or needed to fulfill growth plan
  • Maintains awareness of competitive activities and products. Communicates all relevant data to Marketing Services and Sales Management
  • When applicable, inform other brands Product Manager of opportunities in specific segments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, an MBA would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to move forward multiple projects within a team environment
  • Experience in strategy development and execution
  • Previous commercial sales experience a plus
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively listen to customer's needs, present information and respond to questions from groups
