We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to serve as our Apprenticeship and Membership Coordinator. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our mission by managing apprenticeship programs and fostering member engagement.

ResponsibilitiesApprenticeship
  • Oversee the administration of our electrical apprenticeship program, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison with the Department of Labor and Veterans Administration, working closely with contractors to address apprentice issues and track progress.
  • Monitor apprentice performance, including grades, attendance, and class requirements, and generate monthly reports.
  • Assist with managing the license renewal process and contribute to marketing and recruitment efforts for the apprenticeship program.
Membership
  • Support marketing and member retention initiatives, participating in job fairs and other recruitment activities to grow and retain membership.
  • Develop and implement strategies for membership growth and retention, managing association operations, including digital assets and database management.
  • Facilitate communication between IEC members and key stakeholders, maintaining the IEC member directory and updating member records.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director as needed, assisting with planning for annual meetings and banquets.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree, associate's degree, or relevant work experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with members and stakeholders.
