Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Nutritional Services Aide is responsible for delivering meals and trays to residents in assisted living and skilled care facilities. This role involves setting up and cleaning dining areas while ensuring that hospitality and service standards are consistently met or exceeded. Timely meal delivery and proper plate preparation are essential components of this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers dining services to residents, visitors, and family members as required.
  • Prepares meal trays and serves food in accordance with established menus and therapeutic diet guidelines.
  • Maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance.
  • Adheres to daily and weekly cleaning protocols.
  • Restocks necessary supplies as needed.
  • Ensures all side stations and dining areas are kept tidy, following the 'clean as you go' principle.
  • Maintains sanitary conditions in all work areas.
  • Participates in all required training sessions.
  • Follows safety and loss prevention procedures diligently.
  • Complies with all food service policies and procedures to meet community standards.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
