Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team at LaFontaine Buick GMC. As a Seasoned Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers on the sales floor and determine their vehicle preferences.
  • Explain features and demonstrate the operation of vehicles in the showroom or on the road.
  • Suggest optional equipment for customers to purchase.
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment.
  • Consult with the Sales Manager when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Compute and quote sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount.
  • Prepare all related paperwork and applications.
  • Deliver new vehicles to customers and ensure they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Maintain a prospect development system and remain knowledgeable of new products, features, and accessories.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed written forecast and projected sales numbers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required.
  • Sales experience is required.
