As a Training Specialist, you will be tasked with implementing extensive training initiatives that elevate the expertise and performance of our BDC Service Representatives. Your role will also involve managing service-related inquiries, coordinating appointments, and ensuring an exceptional customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment of new team members.
- Conduct interviews for prospective candidates within the department.
- Facilitate training for all new hires in the BDC, along with additional training for existing staff when processes evolve.
- Respond efficiently to incoming service-related inquiries through various communication channels.
- Collect pertinent information from customers regarding their service requirements and concerns.
- Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to maximize appointment availability.
- Schedule service appointments based on customer preferences.
- Perform follow-up communications to confirm and remind customers of their scheduled appointments.
- Adhere to established BDC protocols for managing service inquiries.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in communication and capable of assisting others in their learning journey.
- Adaptable and flexible in embracing both traditional and new processes.
- Experience in training or educational roles is preferred.
- Background in customer service or a related field is advantageous.
- Prior experience in an automotive service or BDC environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with service-related processes and procedures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Proficient in utilizing CRM systems and other service-related software.
- Ability to devise solutions that cater to customer needs.
- High integrity and ethical standards in all customer interactions.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment background checks.
