Job Overview
KVL Audio Visual Services is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the setup, operation, and dismantle of audio visual systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- AV Equipment Setup and Operation: You will be responsible for setting up, striking, and operating audio visual equipment, including running and taping cables, setting speakers, mixers, projectors, and other AV gear as required.
- Interpersonal Skills: You will work closely with our team and provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
- Logistics and Transportation: You will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment from our trucks, as well as moving gear between rooms and locations.
- Technical Knowledge: You will strive to remain technically up-to-date in the ever-changing AV industry, staying current with the latest equipment and technologies. This includes downloading and referencing equipment manuals as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience with audio visual equipment and systems
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
$20 - $30/hour
The salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
