About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team at Philips. As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers in the Loma Linda, CA area by installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service repair on medical equipment using technical knowledge and training.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues, providing effective communication and involving site service personnel as needed.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by demonstrating ownership and a sense of urgency in delivering results.
  • Independently complete PMs, FCOs, installations, and related tasks, as well as diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience servicing medical equipment, with general biomedical, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pump experience highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware, including applications, programming, and systems functionality.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
