Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Private Duty Nurse (LVN/LPN) will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and providing medical support as needed. This is a full-time/part-time position, with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our patients and caregivers.
Responsibilities- Implement and update the nursing care plan in collaboration with the patient's physician and healthcare team.
- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- One year of experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting, with a focus on pediatrics or gerontology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
